I just got off the phone with Nurse C, and she said that Dr. K found some adhesions that needed to be removed, and he was suggesting having a laproscopy done. Nurse C said that Dr. K still wanted to talk to me, but he's on call and at the hospital right now. So he would try to call me back tonight or tomorrow to talk about it in more detail.
Now I'm freaked out! Any and all laproscopy experiences are needed!!!!!!!!!
Update...
I just talked with my doctor, and he thinks the reason I haven't gotten pregnant again is because of the scarring. He said he would have his pre-op nurse call me to get it scheduled. He wants to do it early in the cycle so he knows I'm not pregnant, but we're not going to be able to try that cycle. He said we would have to wait until the next cycle (if the lap wasn't too invasive.)

We have two beautiful girls who came into our lives through adoption...Little Bit and Chipmunk. Little Bit was born in Sept 2008, and Chipmunk was born in February 2009. No, that's not a typo...our girls are 5 1/2 months apart! Life is crazy hectic, but they are our greatest blessings, and we are so thankful to God for building our family through adoption! I have psoriatic arthritis, naturally curly hair, and PCOS with insulin resistance.

I have had 2 laps. Exploratory for both - the last one they found a part of a 3rd ovary in my opening of my fal. tubes. Neither Laps were really apinful. I was put under and I took a few days off work for recovery. I had a little pulling/stretching a few days after around my belly button. But over all, it was over quickly and seemed quite painless. It was sore ( but nothing unbearable) the first 24 hours. They gave me Rx pain meds, but advil worked for me the next day so I only had to take 1 pain pill that night after surgery - and i took it because i was afraid of the pain i would be in if i didn't. I wouldn't be surprised if I had adhesions because of my surgeries. But hey, at least this is fixable! Don't get down.. it could really turn things around for you.

I'm sorry you need to have a lap. I don't have any experience, but I wish you all the best. And congrats on the new job. I'm sure it will be an adjustment, but it sounds very positive.
