Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant...AT 16!!!!! And she's keeping the baby and raising it in my home state (Kentwood, LA to be exact) because she wants her baby to have a more normal life. I hate to tell her but wasn't she raised in Kentwood? Being raised in her family makes that baby sooooo not normal no matter where it's being raised. They're all "adnormal" to put it nicely.
I'm thinking they could have made a butt-load off of infertiles by donating their high-quality eggs or even by being surrogates if they didn't want their eggs discarded each month. But now they're just adding more dysfunction to their family! SICK!!!!
Girls, I hope you've learned your lesson...you were supposed to start ttc at 16!!! It's too late for us, but it's not too late for all those teenagers out there. We CAN put an end to infertility!!!!! Spread the word...It's just a matter of how early you start!!!!!

I say mostly because we spent 2 heartbreaking years trying to conceive, and those years were NOT wonderful years. We have two beautiful girls who came into our lives through adoption...Little Bit and Chipmunk. Little Bit was born in Sept 2008, and Chipmunk was born in February 2009. No, that's not a typo...our girls are 5 1/2 months apart! Life is crazy hectic, but they are our greatest blessings, and we are so thankful to God for building our family through adoption! I have psoriatic arthritis, naturally curly hair, and PCOS with insulin resistance.

That was the first thing that popped up on my computer this morning, just as I was taking that first wonderful sip of hot coffee. What a way to start the day. How foolish of me, at 16, to have concentrated on good grades and my upcoming college education! If only I'd been having unprotected sex I would have had the kids that I desperately want way back then!

I am coolingstar9, having kids are really a wonderful things in married life. This is a festive season, may i wish you and all your readers all good things come upon each and every one of you.
I share in your reaction to this "news". It just turned my stomach to think that this is another story of a young, inexperienced teenager getting pregnant on accident, while I try endlessly to accomplish the same thing. It's so sad and so frustrating.
yeah i figure that's when reproduction was "supposed" to happen... teens and twenties.
I just have to find the wherewithal to NOT buy the next stupid magazine with this news plastered on it.
It's too bad no one cares b/c news like this wouldn't matter if it didn't sell. :(
