I know I've been away from my little blog lately. I'm sorry!!! But I just had to get away from the IF for a while. I know I'm technically not accomplishing anything by running away, but it felt good not to think about it for a while.
So I think my last cycle is a bust. I don't know if I o'd or not. It's rediculous!! Ever since I started taking the Met my cycles have been so unpredictable even with taking Clom.id or Fem.ara. FRUSTRATING!!!! So...I GIVE UP!!! It's CD21 and I'm more confused than I've ever been!!! So, I've decided that we've had our last round of ttc sex. If I haven't o'd yet then too bad. I just can't keep waiting on my body to function properly. I have done lots of research on adoption agencies over the holdidays so I'm officially beginning our adoption process today by requesting information from the ones that I think we fit with.

- I am a 40 yr old imperfect Christian woman who's madly in love with my husband, Jon. We've been married for 10 mostly wonderful years. I say mostly because we spent 2 heartbreaking years trying to conceive, and those years were NOT wonderful years. We have two beautiful girls who came into our lives through adoption...Little Bit and Chipmunk. Little Bit was born in Sept 2008, and Chipmunk was born in February 2009. No, that's not a typo...our girls are 5 1/2 months apart! Life is crazy hectic, but they are our greatest blessings, and we are so thankful to God for building our family through adoption! I have psoriatic arthritis, naturally curly hair, and PCOS with insulin resistance.

- June '06 - Clomid 50 mg, BFP (chemical pregnancy at 5w4d)

- Nov. '06 - Clomid 100 mg - BFP
- Jan. '07 - Missed M/C at 9w3d, D&C
- Feb. '07 - break Cycle, on BCP to get AF, Antibody and clotting b/w done, all normal

Thank you for stopping by my blog. I'm glad that you found me, cuz now I can start praying for you. I am sad to say that I can relate to your comment on what infertility has done to you as a Christian woman. It has certainly affected my walk with the Lord, and bent my faith in every direction imaginable. If I hadn't surrounded myself with a good, Christian network of friends, family, blogging buddies...I can only imagine how far away from God I would be.
Good luck with your search in adoption agency's. If clomid doesn't work for us, we are likely to follow in your footsteps. I'll pray for you today, and I feel priviliged to lurk as you journey through becoming parents.
