CD1
Well, AF showed...I guess. It's still nothing more than spotting, but I talked with my OB's nurse this morning, and she said to go ahead and call today CD1. In talking with her I've decided to take a break this cycle because for the second cycle in a row all I've done is spot...not even light flow. That concerns me. My doctor is on vacation until the 25th, so we've scheduled a consult appt for the 27th to talk about our options and to discuss all the questions I have. I'm not doing another IUI until I've had an HSG to check my tubes and to see if there's any scarring left from my D&C back in Jan. If there's a chance that in the last 9 months that my tubes have become blocked or that there is scarring from the D&C then the IUI's are futile and a huge waste of money. He may go ahead and refer me an RE, and I probably will make the appt so they can run all the tests in the book on me. My insurance will cover all the tests and procedures...just no treatments. (Don't even get me started on how unfair that is!!!) I want so badly to try this month, but at this point I want answers and not treatments. KWIM?

I am so, so sorry. I think you are on the right track. Having the HSG can answer a lot of questions and has also been rumored to increase fertility (I got pregnant about 2 months after mine). I'll be praying for you and I hope that you have a good weekend. :) HUGS!
I second all that Road blocks stated!
I am so sorry! You have gotten pregnant in the past, and rather quickly (at least by my standards!) I think an RE will be the answer to your prayers. I bet the light spotting is a sign you need progesterone suppositories. Clomid can make the lining thin--too thin for that little egg to attach. I am placing my bets that that is the problem.--very smart of you to demand more tests though. Good luck to you. Thank you for your posts. You really inspire me and keep me going on my journey.
Ugh, I'm sorry the witch showed. I haven't done an HSG yet either. Mainly because I don't feel like paying for it, and wanted to see if anything else came back abnormal first (blood work, S/A, ultrasound, etc). I am praying that I can start SOMETHING without the HSG... but I guess I'll do it if I have to. I swear, I've read through your whole blog.. but I'm blanking. What treatments have you done thus far with your OB?
About doctors.. let's see if you can follow this.. I'm hesitant to use real names. I was seeing Dr. Bay-yur for a while... didn't care for her. Switched to one of the Shorts n' bergs. Didn't care for her either. So I'm temporarily seeing Dr. Ba-rown, but I am really switching to Dr. Will-it, who is on maternity leave. I'm just seeing Dr. Ba-rown in the meantime because I'm impatient and wanted to get my tests out of the way before seeing Dr. Will-it on 10/1. She came highly recommended by a good friend, so I'm hoping for progress with her. All OB/Gyn's, by the way.
Oh, and I WAS talking about Woman's... the parking is TERRIBLE!!
But we must get together sometime! I assume you've been spending time at Woman's also, no? Maybe we've been passing each other in the halls all this time! ;o) Maybe we'll have to coordinate our appointments one day and grab some lunch at Subway, hehe.
JK...I had a HSG before Timothy...I will tell you one thing, it hurt like ****. Carlton heard me scream in the waiting room! BUT...there was a small blockage. I agree with you that you have done all you can up to now, so maybe now is the time to do something more "invasive". I'll be praying for you!
